6th REL – Baptismal Name and Prayer

Instructions -

Draw or design your Baptismal name.
Write (type) a 1-page prayer to God thanking Him for choosing you to be a part of His Church and asking Him to strengthen you for the mission He has planned for your life.

7th ENG – Adjective Haiku

Instructions -

Find or draw a scene (picture).
Then write 3 haiku using the 5 types of adjectives:

  • 1 regular adjective
  • 1 article
  • 1 comparative adjective
  • 1 superlative adjective
  • 1 demonstrative adjective

A HAIKU is made up of 17 syllables in 3 lines =

____(5 syllables)____
_______(7 syllables)_______
____(5 syllables)____

You can write 3 haiku for the same picture – OR – find three pictures and write 1 haiku for each of the pictures.

Make sure that each of your haiku has all 5 types of adjectives!
