7th ENGLISH – Personal Lesson Story

Instructions -

Write a short story about an experience you had with a lesson that can be taught to your readers (i.e., “moral of the story”). It will be based on something that really happened to you, but you can make up additional characters and events to add more depth your story.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • 5-7 pages long
  • Typed
  • Double-spaced
  • with CORRECTLY PUNCTUATED DIALOGUE!!! =)

You will be graded on character development, setting description, the presence of conflict, climax, and resolution. Grammar and spelling points will also be included in your grade.

Rough Draft is due FRIDAY 2/15

Final Draft is due WEDNESDAY 2/20
