Dear Students and Parents,
I would like to let you know that I will be gone next week for the Creighton Model FertilityCare Practictioner Training. This program will serve as professional development and help to solidify the foundation of the Family Life curriculum at St. Jerome, as it should align with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Br. Chris will take care of all my classes. If you need to reach him, you may contact him at (310) 923-2678 / youthministry@stjeromewestchester.org. He will not be updating the wiki, so please make sure that all homework assignments are written down in the Agenda Book as you are always expected to do.
Please don’t forget that service hours and Spiritual Formation projects must be turned in by November 20. All projects for both programs MUST be pre-approved before completion.
Any pending Gradelink entries will be entered when I return the following week.
Please say a prayer for me, and I will be praying for you as well! Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Mrs. Dyogi
Dear Students and Parents,

Thank you,
Mrs. Dyogi

Therese Hope Dyogi (French pronunciation “Te-rez” – like St. Therese) was born on Friday, March 13, 2009 @ 3:17pm after a VERY smooth delivery! Mom and baby are healthy, and Dad and Ate (big sis) Meleana are so happy with the new addition to our family. Can’t wait for you all to meet her! Miss you all!
Love,
Mrs. Dyogi =)

Dear 6th, 7th, and 8th graders,
You probably heard by now that my doctor put me on extra bed rest until the baby is born, so I have to start my maternity leave earlier than I expected. We’re not sure exactly when I’ll deliver, but I won’t be able to be with you for as long as I had hoped.
I’ll be keeping in touch with you all through the blog, and I’ll still be posting some Powerpoints and resources that will help you with your lessons and projects while I am gone. If you have any questions for me at any time, please email me at mdyogisjs@yahoo.com and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
Just some things you might be wondering about…
- VIRTUE PRESENTATIONS: All March Virtue Presentations not given yet will be postponed to May!! I will reschedule you and let you know in April when you will present. I will also include those students who did not present during their assigned months earlier in the year.
- SERVICE HOURS: If you are a 7th or 8th grader who turned in Service Hour paperwork for altar serving during 1st Trimester, you have a one-week extension to get all of your 2nd Trimester hours in. Remember, 8th graders, you need a total of 14 hours by now. 7th graders, you need a total of 7 hours by now. Please turn in your forms NO LATER than next Friday, March 13 to Mr. Mallen or Br. Chris. They will make sure to get them to me so I can give you your points for Religion.
- Also, if you need pre-approval for service projects, you need to ask Mr. Mallen to make sure your projects are cleared with us. You can also email me at least 2 weeks before you plan to do your project, and I will let you know as soon as I can.
If anything else comes up, I’ll post another update. Otherwise, please keep me and the baby in your prayers! And be good!! =)
I’ll miss you all…
Blessings,
Mrs. Dyogi
